Alhaji Tajudeen Ayeola

High Chief Ayeola Tajudeen Oriyomi is a graduate of Economics Education with over 27 years of experience in cooperative administration in Nigeria. He currently serves as the President of the Cooperative Federation of Nigeria and has presided over all four tiers of Cooperative Administration in the country.

During his tenure as the President of ICA-Africa, Chief Oriyomi focused on improving the agriculture value chain by promoting the production and sales of Coop Foods. He also played a key role in introducing healthcare schemes and boosting the contribution of cooperatives in real estate, including the construction of a new Secretariat for a State Cooperative Movement.

Under his leadership, the visibility and dynamism of the Cooperative Movement in Nigeria have significantly improved. Currently, the Cooperative Federation of Nigeria is collaborating with the Federal Government of Nigeria to provide social housing to the populace through cooperatives. In addition to his leadership skills, Chief Oriyomi has extensive experience in board proceedings and serves as a Board Member of Cooperative Mortgage Bank Ltd, Nigeria and Coop Holding LTD.
