Estate Fire Insurance Scheme

The IGI ESTATE FIRE INSURANCE SCHEME (EFIS) is a policy that provides cover against fire, lightning, flood and allied perils for houses within a particular estate.

EFIS also gives the policyholder the option of fire cover on contents of the buildings.

For Whom

EFIS is designed for all Estate Management Companies, Property Developers, Building Companies and House Owners/Occupiers in housing estates.

Limit of Cover

The Scheme provides cover against fire for houses in an estate with value of up to =N=40 million.

Note: Buildings above =N=40 million will be subject to special considerations.
